Should I shave before the procedure ?
It is recommended to shave the front of the scrotum, the site of the incision.
Am I numb during the procedure ?
Yes, the procedure begins with cleaning the area and applying local anesthesia to the skin and both vas deferens using three small injections.
Some tugging or pulling discomfort may remain due to the handling of the vas deferens.
